Primary care physicians (PCP) frequently encounter skin lesions, growths and various dermatoses. Depending upon the dermatologic condition, various treatments or procedures may be necessary. This presentation will introduce the PCP to commonly performed procedures in a Dermatology office such as methods of performing a skin biopsy, performing an excision, electrocautery, cryosurgery and intralesional excisions. In addition, simple suturing techniques will be demonstrated.
