Kathleen Blaney, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Kathleen Blaney has cared for patients and families across Central Florida for many years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Her background pairs primary care with infectious disease — an uncommon combination that means patients can manage routine health needs and more complex, ongoing conditions in one place, with one provider who knows their history. She has practiced across outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, and private in-home care, and she brings that range to every visit.
Kathleen treats patients of all ages for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, annual physicals, preventive screenings, women’s health, and HIV care and prevention. She takes time to explain what’s happening and why, builds care plans people can actually follow, and stays with patients over the long term rather than treating one visit at a time.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, completed post-graduate advanced practice training at the University of Central Florida, and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner post-graduate certificate through Frontier Nursing University. She is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. She has also held administrative and leadership roles.
Kathleen sees patients at Winter Park Family Physicians in Winter Park, Florida, and is accepting new patients.
